Personal Profile
Mark has been making art since he was a child. While he has encountered many artists and designers over his career and learned a nearly infinite amount from these individuals, the origins of Mark's love for art comes from his father Frank.
At a young age Mark used to sit for hours and pour over books filled with Star Wars concept art by draftsmen and painters like Ralph McQuarrie and Joe Johnston. He would later discover and come to admire concept artists and illustrators such as Frank Frazetta, Robert McGinnis, Ryan Church, Ian McCaig, Marco Bucci, and Doug Chiang.
Mark has been formally educated in UX Research and Design, Graphic Design, Photography, and Fine Art with a concentration in painting. He has a Master of Fine Art in Experience Design.
He currently lives in Indiana with his wife and children.
